 "A High-Octane Marriage in a Fuel-Challenged World"
February 6-8, 2009, Nashua, NH

H.I.M. is once again offering two marriage conferences. Richard Dahlstrom, senior pastor of Bethany Community Church in Seattle, Washington, will be our guest speaker next weekend at the lovely Radisson Hotel in Nashua, and Paul and Virginia Friesen will speak in April at the popular Eagle Mountain House in Jackson, New Hampshire. Danny and Rayna Oertli will be the worship leaders at both conferences. Plan now to attend and gain your marriage a "high octane" rating. Online registration is available for either conference.

Keeping Up with Paul and Virginia
|
Paul and Virginia have had a busy January, and I'm sure Virginia will write about it soon on her blog, but here's a quick summary of the main events: In addition to their usual weekly counseling sessions, they spoke at two different Mom to Mom groups, hosted an Engagement Matters weekend, spoke at a Couples' Night at Trinity Baptist Church in Nashua, hosted a Mid-Winter Family Getaway (with the highest attendance ever, and lots of great pool time--just check out the photo to the right!), and then held a 3-day H.I.M. Board Meeting Retreat last week to evaluate and plan for upcoming ministry.
Shown here are the Friesens alongside board members Doug and Julie Macrae, in the Macraes' kitchen. Not only did Doug and Julie host the H.I.M. Board in their home for a very productive series of meetings, Doug did all the cooking--supplemented, of course, with Virginia's amazing breakfast bakery items and a continuous supply of Paul's world-famous chocolate chip cookies. If you're longing for some of those, may I suggest you register for one of the H.I.M. marriage conferences asap? Paul always provides the registration table with a packet of cookies to greet each couple as they arrive on Friday evening. They are yum-m-m-my!
Thanks for your partnership in this ministry--which feeds not just bodies, but marriages, families, and even whole churches. You are making a difference in God's Kingdom, and that's treasure in Heaven! God bless you...
