1. TRUE LOVE WAITSFAMILY EDITIONMarch 25, 8:30 am
to 3 pm
True Love WaitsFamily Edition is just
one week away! There is still time to register, either
online or by
calling 781-275-6473. Join families from all over New England at this dynamite
conference for teens and parents to hear the truth of God's design for the BEST
in relationships. Sexual purity is a goal worth working for with your kids. In
addition to Paul and Virginia's teaching, special guest speakers on this day
will include Brian and Heather Dietz (middle school pastor at Grace Chapel),
Kate Wylie (wife of champion figure skater Paul Wylie), and Grant and Emily
Williams (former NFL offensive lineman with the St. Louis Rams, formerly with
the NE Patriots). For all the details, go to
our web site and click on
"True Love Waits."

2. FAMILY FOCUS NIGHTMarch 25, 7:30 pm
Paul and Virginia are packing a lot of speaking into one Saturday,
aren't they? After finishing up their teaching on sexual purity at True Love
WaitsFamily Edition, they will head over to Lexington Christian Academy
that evening to address parents on the topic of Making Your Kids
MindWithout Losing Yours. All of us want our children to grow up to
be men and women of character. But how does discipline help them to be all they
can be? How can we correct them without crushing them? There will be time
afterwards for a question and answer period.
We encourage you to come this Saturday evening, March 25, for
helpful insights into the world of discipline. Please invite your friends! This
is a great opportunity to perhaps have them over for dinner first, and then
drive to LCA together to introduce them to the ministry of H.I.M. There'll be
plenty of Paul Friesen's famous chocolate chip cookies for all! Your RSVP would
be very helpful (though not required): just call 781-275-6473 or email
Paul@HIMweb.org
oh, and there is no charge for this evening. See the
Family Focus Nights
brochure for more information and directions to LCA. Hope to see you
there! |

3. ENGAGEMENT MATTERS WEEKENDSaturday and Sunday, April
8-9
Last call for registration for the last Engagement
Matters weekend of the season! Paul and Virginia offer this weekend seminar for
engaged and pre-engaged couples three times a year. It's not at all unusual for
couples from outside of New England to fly in just to attend, so if you know
someone to recommend this to, don't hesitate even if they live a distance away.
Paul and Virginia are willing to help arrange housing if there's a need for it.
Over the course of the two days, couples receive teaching on many important
topics including personal wholeness, sacrificial love, communication, and
intentional "oneness." For more information see the
Engagement Matters
brochure or call us at 781-275-6473 to request a brochure.

6. PAUL AND VIRGINIA, STUDENTS AT LARGE Paul and
Virginia finished and handed in the first drafts of their respective
dissertations and will be defending them on March 27. If all goes well, they
will be graduating from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in early May. As
this issue goes to press, they are speaking in California: Paul at a men's
conference in Fresno, and Virginia at a women's conference in Monterey. By the
way, if you didn't already happen to read their letter "Notes from the Journey"
written this past February, let me call that to your attention, as it gives a
glimpse into the day-to-day shape of their ministry, which truly would not be
possible without your prayers and support. Please continue to pray for God's
provision for them.
And may He bless you and your family as well. |
