Newly Married Couples: The early years of marriage can be wonderful as you both try to navigate your new life together. It can also be a time of transition and unexpected challenges. This seminar is geared towards newly married couples and couples who feel the need for a refresher. Topics such as communication, compromise, differences, and expectations of time, money and sex will be explored. Couples will learn how to establish healthy habits early in their marriage and will learn practical tools that can be implemented into daily life.
Dr. Ryan and Kelly Plosker have been married for ten years and provide dating, engaged and marital counseling to couples. Ryan is a psychologist and educator and is the Headmaster of a private special education school. He also teaches at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Kelly is a licensed social worker who has worked in the areas of child protection and in the juvenile drug courts. She was previously an Associate Professor of Social Work at Gordon College. She now spends her days raising their four young children at home.
