“Keeping a Marriage Sacred, yet Fun”

Doug and Julie Macrae

Part of God's plan for our marriages is to have fun. And yet many couples view that fun-loving romantic relationships are only for newlyweds. After years of marriage, the excuses mount: “We don't have time for that”, “The kids come first”, “We have no energy at the end of the day”, or “We've run out of ideas.”

In this workshop, Doug and Julie will explore how to intentionally create fun in your relationship and to regularly spend special time with your spouse. The goal is to make sure that your spouse remains your lifelong best friend and that your relationship has greater excitement and energy than even the early years. You will learn to identify what makes your spouse feel loved and plan activities around your spouse's desires.

Julie and Doug have been married 12 years, though many say that they still act like newlyweds. Besides being young at heart, they intentionally carve out time for each other and search for new creative ways to have fun together. They have a ministry of caring for couples and intentionally keeping romance raging in marriages.
